Umbrella tree in which in Filipino, was called Talisay tree, from the family Combretaceae, Terminalia Catappa.
Umbrella tree also known as the Indian Almond or The Tropical Almond.
Often planted as a shade and ornamental tree due to it's large broad leaves and branches that extend horizontally.
The tree's branches, loaded with thick foliage of big and wide leaves extended outward 360 degrees.
While it didn't have a perfectly round crown, it will perform as an umbrella would do.
When the weather is too hot, this tree would certainly help provide protection and shelter for any passers-by.
