decided to go a road trip travel at Sagada, Mt Province.
Sagada is just a few hours drive from our home province in Nueva Vizcaya.
Sagada has pride itself with many unique landscape attractions and destinations to visit and explore.
The Sumaguing Cave is one adventure you want to explore when visiting Sagada.
It is one of the popular caves here in Sagada and would never be complete your day without venturing into its cave exploration.
From the mouth of the majestic cave, the tour guide escorted us down to the rugged terrain.
Inside the cave, you'll see some of bat-poop-covered rocks
and you'll be welcome by the incredible stalactites and stalagmites formations.
The cave is absolutely fascinating with views of different limestone formations preserve from thousand of years.
The Sumaguing Cave is a two to three hour trek journey traversing at slippery stones, rappelling,
climbing big rocks formation and at times go under into the cold cave waters.
It's quite challenging. There was this small pathway hole that only a small person could fit into.
We crawled our way into this small passage way and submerge ourselves in the freezing water.
It's super chilling cold that I can see our whole body steam in ice.
I remember, we went there during the cold season of January.
Tired and sleepless. It was one of the most exhausting physically challenging activity we've ever faced.
Nevertheless, the spelunking was super fun and the entire experience was extraordinary.
