One of the games we have played during our company outing in Rizal Recreation is the Amazing Race.
Three teams will be competing. Each will start in different stations and ends with one final station, where one team can be declared as winners. I am a part of the Red Team. A common task will be given to all teams, and the team's job is to finish the obstacle courses. Each station will require a correct answer and an activity. All should be answered correctly before landing on the next station. It's fun having games like this. You need the cooperation of the group and a spirit to win the challenge. Every hint can train your mind in figuring out the correct answer. Time will be your friend or your enemy. The time is ticking. No map will be provided, it's up to the teams to figure out all the answers as fast as they can. At the end of the game, win or lose, it's the adventures and fun that really matters. Enjoying something like this is surely way to beat the stresses and tiring long work hours in an office. Hopefully next time, another great summer fun like this will be more exciting.
I got a chance to meet Rev. Joe Mauk. Not known to many of us, like the famous Pope Francis, had an inspirational talk with us participants about the relationship of spinning tops to our faith. I like the way how he described our faith and relationship with our Creator through the used of spinning a top. As he said, "You cannot spin the top without the spinner. One cannot work without the other." From his collection of more than 500 tops in each presentation, Rev. Joe Mauk uses 10 or 12 tops. And for more than forty years, he has been using the simple spinning top to illustrate God's Word. Each of the tops has a clear illustration of Biblical truth. I also like the way he speak in tagalog words, he seems very fluent. And his sense of humor made me more attentive to listen to him. When visiting the Rizal Re-creation Center don't forget to drop by. One way to refresh your spirit is attending to Rev. Joe inspirational talk. It sure an entertaining and fun. Been working this for my next project. Piggy Money Bank and Coins.
Hopefully it'll finish soon. Watch out for it! A great experience and fun here at La Virginia Resort.
Looking back at some old photos of friends and colleagues. Some have stayed, while others have gone and venture for a new journey of their career. But once in a while, happy memories of the past is always the best way to cherish. See you when I see you. More happy summer escapade photos here. Building the tallest sand castle contest.
One common activities in the beach is playing with the sand. And one game we played during our company outing was to build the tallest sand castle. With given only time limit of 10 minutes to build it. No time to waste, Our QC group team gave all their energies in building it. Doesn't have to be that beautiful, after all, the contest is about creating the tallest castle. More fun shots here. This is a game called human centipede relay challenge. One of the games played during our company summer outing.
It is composed of a team from each different department. The team should sit down on the beach activity area, then all the members should put their legs on the lap of their co-member. The team will walk together by pushing their butt from start to finish line, as fast as they can. Once the challenges are done, the team will yell their cheer. Its more fun here in Batangas, Philippines. See more fun shots here. A black and white photo of filling up the cups.
